You guys can se|e we already started the basic outlines in the back leg.
Next we finish the entire outline~

Now we are finished with the outline. Once everything is outlined we erase al|l the pencils markings. We then go over the drawings once more creating the line art.

These are the finished line art that gets scan|ned in and colored.
Next we ad|d in al|l base colors~ Blocks in backgrounds colors, textures, and the predominant colors on this Zoid.

It may become an eye sore to pick out what colors go where against one mas|s of color.
Upon other layers we block out armor colors.

Now we shade. On a new layer set on multiply using gradients to shade everything. Take notice we altered the background texture, the eye colors, and ad|ded our watermark~
Lastly we ad|d highlights. We used a slightly dif|ferent highlight set|ting for the golds to show they are pret|ty shiny. The highlighting is done the same way as the shading except the layer are set on ‘soft light’ or ‘scre|en.’

This Zoid is pret|ty much done, the last touch up is the Zoids logo.
